One ostrich egg is equivalent to approx 24 chicken eggs! The shells are great for painting, carving, decoupage, faberge or decoration.

A good quality shell will have a glossy look and the shell is usually strong enough to stand on ... although we can't guarantee this! Their strength makes them great to work with.
